Translational Bioinformatics Impact Factor

Though a comparatively young field, translational bioinformatics has become a crucial discipline within the era of personalized and precision medicine. Advances in biological methods and technologies have opened a replacement realm of possible observations. The invention of the microscope enabled doctors and researchers to form observations at the cellular level. the arrival of the X-ray, and later of resonance and other imaging technologies, enabled visualization of tissues and organs never before possible. Each of those technological advances necessitates a companion advance within the methods and tools wont to analyze and interpret the results. With the increasingly common use of technologies like DNA and RNA sequencing, DNA microarrays, and high-throughput proteomics and metabolomics, comes the necessity for novel methods to show these new sorts of data into new information which new information into new knowledge. That new knowledge, in turn, gives rise to action, providing insights regarding the way to treat disease and ideally the way to prevent it within the first place.  The applications of translational bioinformatics may function the pivotal bridge between the essential research in systems biology and clinical performance of systems and personalized medicine. The analyses of research data and patient records may support the patient-centered objectives and therefore the decision-making in drug development pipelines in both research and clinical environments. With the support of dynamical, robust, and systems-based models for diseases and drug reactions, the drug discovery processes could also be significantly improved with lower costs and better effectiveness.
