Lupus: Open Access is a global, peer considered, Open Access online journal that provides a central point for the publication of basic, clinical, translational, and epidemiological studies of all aspects of lupus and related diseases. Open Access journals were developed in response to the need for a barrier-free forum for the publication of groundbreaking studies in lupus.
The journal publishes research works on lupus from fields including, but not limited to rheumatology, dermatology, nephrology, immunology, pediatrics, cardiology, hepatology, pulmonology, obstetrics and gynecology, and psychiatry. It will afford an integrative journal for molecular pathology and digital pathology, creating an open case discussion platform to be used during daily diagnostic work.
Lupus: Open access is using Editorial Tracking System for quality in the review process. Editorial Tracking is an online manuscript submission, review, and tracking system used by most of the best open access journals. Audit convert is implemented by the editorial board members of journal or outside experts; at least two independent reviewers approval followed by editor's approval is required for acceptance of any citable manuscript.
