Scientific Journals in Cytogenetics are the one which are considered to be highly influential in their respective fields. The impact factor of journal provides assessable assessment tool for grading, estimating, sorting and comparing journals of similar kind. It reflects the average number of references to recent articles published in science and social science journals in a particular year or some of the time period, and is more frequently used as a proxy for the relative importance of a journal within the field. It is first divined by Eugene Garfield, and he is one of the founder of the Institute for Scientific Information. The impact factor of a journal is estimated by dividing the number of current year assessable to the source items published in that journal during the previous two years. Cytogenetics is one of the leading branch of genetics, but is also a part of cell cytology, how these chromosomes relate to cell behaviour, particularly to their behaviour during mitosis and meiosis.
