Psychoanalysis Research Articles

The articles in open access journals are mainly peer reviewed and are accessible through the open access journal directory. OMICS Group International supports this system and gives access to more than 700 peer-reviewed journals without any restrictions and thus promotes the Open Access movement in order to promote scientific advances. Research articles published in OMICS Group journals are available online immediately and permanently at no cost. Psychoanalysis was founded by Sigmund Freud. Freud believed that people could be cured by making their unconscious thoughts and motivations aware, thereby gaining "intuition." The goal of psychoanalysis therapy is to liberate repressed emotions and experiences, that is, to make the unconscious conscious. Psychoanalysis is both a theory of how the mind works and a treatment. In recent years, the two have given way to more dominant and research-oriented approaches, but psychoanalysis is still a thriving field.
