Proteomics Impact Factor
Proteomics is the large scale study of proteomes produced in an organism, system, or biological context. The quantitative study of protein expression between samples that differ by certain variable is known as expression proteomics. Presently it is dependent on decades of technological and instrumental developments. Most proteomic discoveries and efforts till date have been mainly directed towards the areas of cancer research, drug and drug target discovery and biomarker research. The advancement in this technology has enabled thousands of proteins to be resolved in a single gel.
The Journal of Proteomics is an academic journal providing an opportunity to researchers and scientist to explore the advanced and latest research in the field of proteomics and bioinformatics in animal, plant and microbial world. A journal impact factor is frequently used as a proxy for the relative importance of a journal within its field. The journal welcomes papers in new research areas like metabolomics, genomics, systems biology, toxicogenomics, pharmacoproteomics.
