The surgical specialty which involves the restoration, reconstruction, or alteration of the human body is nothing but plastic surgery. It may be categorised into two main types: reconstructive surgery and cosmetic surgery. Reconstructive surgery mainly involves craniofacial surgery, hand surgery, craniofacial surgery, and the treatment of burns where as reconstructive surgery directs to reconstruct a part of the body or improve body functioning, cosmetic (or aesthetic) surgery focus at improving the appearance. Both of these techniques are used frequently. Plastic Surgery articles mainly involves the study related to surgery that may be craniofacial surgery, craniofacial surgery or any other surgery of the body. Open access refers to free, unrestricted online access to research outputs such as journal articles and books. Open access journal can be accessed by all, with no fees.
