Osteopathy New Findings Scientific Journals

Many observers believe that osteopathy and medicine should merge. But osteopathic organizations prefer to keep a separate identity and have exaggerated the minor differences between osteopathy and medicine in their marketing. According to an AOA brochure from 1987, for example: (a) osteopathy is the only branch of traditional medicine that follows the hippocratic approach, (b) the musculoskeletal system of the body is at the center of patient well-being , and (c) OMT is a proven technique for many practical diagnoses and can often offer an alternative to drugs and surgery. A 1991 pamphlet falsely claimed that OMT promotes the body's natural tendency to good health and that its combination with all other medical procedures allows ODs to provide "the most comprehensive treatment available. Review article is sometimes called a scientific article, a peer-reviewed article, or an academic research article. Together, journal articles in a particular field are often called literature. Journal articles are most often primary research articles However, they can also be review articles.
