Osteogenesis Innovations

Osteogenesis (or ossification) is the method of parturition by new bone materials by cells called osteoblasts. It is synonymous with the formation of bone tissue. There are 2 processes leading to the formation of traditional and healthy bone tissue: intramembranous ossification is the direct parturition down of the bone in the primitive animal tissue (mesenchyme), while endochondral ossification involves animal tissue as a precursor. Endochondral osteogenesis in the healing of fractures is the most common method, for example in fractures of long bones treated with plaster of Paris which is a material, while fractures treated by open reduction and stabilization by metal plate and screws could cure by intramembranous osteogenesis. Innovations are a new idea, a new device or a new process. The articulated needs or existing market needs the competent through more efficient products, processes, services, technologies  markets for the governments and society.

Osteogenesis imperfecta (IO) is a fragile genetic disease of brittle bones. Although pharmacotherapy, surgery and physiotherapy represent the current treatments for OI, research continues to find new effective and innovative therapies targeting the underlying causes of the disease. In this regard, recent progress in the areas of gene therapy and stem cells has been considerable. Despite the many challenges that remain, potential new therapies for OI, which have been tested in cell culture systems, animal and patient models, offer hope for the future development of successful therapies.
