Multiple Sclerosis Short Communications
Multiple sclerosis can have almost any neurological symptom or sign, with autonomic, visual, motor and sensory problems being the most common. Tingling, loss of sensitivity, pins and needles or numbness, muscle weakness, blurred vision, very pronounced reflexes, muscle spasms or difficulty moving; coordination and balance difficulties (ataxia); problems with vision, speech or swallowing, feeling tired, acute or chronic pain, and bladder and bowel problems, among others. Emotional problems and difficulty thinking such as depression or unstable mood are also common.
