Medical Malpractice is an Improper, unskilled or negligent treatment of a patient by a physician, dentist, nurse, pharmacist or other health care professional. Negligence is the most predominant theory of liability concerning allegations of medical malpractice, making this type of litigation part of Tort Law. Since the 1970 medical malpractice has been a gone controversial social issue. Physicians have been complained about the large number of malpractice suits and have urged legal reforms to the heavy and large damage awards, whereas tort attorneys have argued that negligence suits are an effective way of compensating victims of negligence and of policing the medical profession The open access journals are peer reviewed scholarly journals of Sociology and Criminology. Peer review is the assessment of work by one or more people with similar ability as the producers of the work (peers). It functions as a form of self-managing by qualified members of a profession within the related field. Peer review methods are used to improve performance, maintain quality standards and provide credibility. In academia, scholarly peer review is frequently used to determine an academic paper's suitability for publication.
