Metabolomics is the logical field including the investigation of substance forms which principally incorporates metabolites. Metabolites, that is, small molecules, are the intermediates and products of metabolism. Precisely, metabolomics can be defined as "the systematic study of the unique chemical imprints left by specific cellular processes", the study of their profiles of metabolites with small molecules. The Journal of metabolomics is an unlimited source of reference and research for researchers and academics in several areas of chemistry research. The chemical properties of the compounds are essential for determining their therapeutic effect and the medicinal characteristics desired for specific conditions. Academic journals also provide an overview of the various synthetics and associated compounds that are ideal for various industrial and manufacturing processes.
