Hepatitis B infection is caused by the hepatitis B virus where the virus is passed from person to person through blood, semen or other body fluids. It does not spread by sneezing or coughing. There is no cure for hepatitis B. But, there are several treatments that can help to manage symptoms and reduce the risk of long-term health problems, such as cirrhosis. The treatment for chronic hepatitis B may include antiviral medications which includes tenofovir, adefovir etc., can help fight the virus and slow its ability to damage your liver. Hepatitis Journals is a International scholarly peer-reviewed journal, with internationally recognized scientists on the editorial board.
