Cytogenetics Journals

In the cell cytology/cell biology the field that basically associated with chromosomes and their inheritance, particularly as applied to medical genetics is called cytogenetics.
DNA molecule with part of the genetic material or all of the genetic material of an organism is called as a chromosome.Chromosomes relate to cell behavior particularly to their behavior during mitosis (which is a process of cell replication that causes chromosomes to separate into two nuclei) and meiosis(which is a process that occurs in reproducing organisms used to produce the gametes). The techniques that are usually used are karyotyping, analysis of G-banded chromosomes and other cytogenic banding techniques also molecular cytogenetics such as comparative genomic hybridization (CGH) and fluorescent in situ hybridization (FISH).
