Cancer can be diagnosed by Physical exam: Presence of lump or tumour, change in colouring or enlargement of an organ, Laboratory tests: Urine and blood tests like complete blood picture, Imaging tests: Computerized Tomography scan, Bone scan, resonance Imaging, Positron Emission Tomography scan, ultrasound and X-ray, and Biopsy: An examination of tissue aloof from a living body to find the presence, cause, or extent of a disease. Twenty-one instruments were identified as appropriate for clinical use regarding to cancer. The instruments range in symptom content & intensity of psychometric validation. The two comprehensive & shorter instruments are advanced & a some instruments are designed for distinct symptom determination or symptoms combined with treatment.
