Bioterrorism is threat of release of biologic agents i.e. virus, bacteria, fungi or their toxins in order to cause disease or death among human population or food crops and livestock to terrorize a civilian population. Bacillus anthracis is one kind of bacteria that causes anthrax, is one of the most likely agents used in a biological attack. Many viral agents have been weaponized, including some of the especially Rift Valley fever virus, Ebolavirus, many of the Flaviviridae, Machupo virus, Marburg virus, Variola virus, and yellow fever virus.
