Journal of Hotel & Business Management aims to be a top journal of management that covers a range of information, in the form of research articles, case studies, surveys, etc that help in better management and advancement of hotel management services to clients. One of the key aspect, house-keeping is a very essential factor that reflects the way rooms are kept and maintained to attract potential customers. House-keeping is a main factor that determines the standard and reputation of the hotel. Some of the sub-departments of house-keeping include laundry, dry cleaning, shoe-polishing and fabric ironing. House-keeping is managed by a House-keeping manager and his duties include: supervising housekeepers, monitor supplies, investigate complaints and make recommendations. While supervising housekeepers, the housekeeping manager has to ensure the quality of the work to maintain the standards of the hotel, re-ordering rooms, conduct periodical cleaning and maintenance of hallways, corridors, lobbies, etc and to ensure guest satisfaction in terms of cleanliness and hygiene
