Angiostrongylus Cantonensis Impact Factor

Angiostrongylus cantonensis Impact factor

Angiostrongylus cantonensis is a parasite that causes angiostrongylosis, which is the most common cause of eosinophilic meningitis. This parasite can be infected by humans through ingestion of larvae by contaminated water, vegetables, etc. , where they are the most common cause of eosinophilic meningitis. Eosinophilic meningitis is generally defined by the increase in the number of eosinophils in the cerebrospinal fluid (CSF). The journal impact factor provides a quantitative evaluation tool for classifying, evaluating, sorting and comparing journals of a similar nature. It reflects the average number of citations of recent articles published in scientific and social journals in a given year or period, and is frequently used as an indirect indicator of the relative importance of a journal in its field . It was first designed by Eugene Garfield, the founder of the Institute for Scientific Information. The impact factor of a journal is assessed by dividing the number of citations from the current year to source articles published in that journal in the previous two years.
