Dr. Yang is currently an assistant professor of immunology and inflammation at Department of Molecular Genetics & Microbiology, University of New Mexico. Dr. Yang’s laboratory employs molecular techniques and animal models to dissect molecular basis of T cell-mediated immunity, autoimmune disease and inflammation. Dr. Yang received his PhD in molecular biology and biochemistry from Peking Union Medical College in1999 and his BS from Peking University in 1992.
Dr. Yang interests lies in T helper cell differentiation; TH cell immunity; TH17 cells and their cytokines in inflammatory and autoimmune diseases.
