Dr. Sinha completed his Ph.D. in Statistics at Dalhousie University in 2000. He held a position of Assistant Professor at the University of Winnipeg. Currently, he is an Associate Professor in the School of Mathematics and Statistics at Carleton University. He has more than 25 publications in peer-reviewed journals and has participated in a number of externally funded research projects. He is a member of the American Statistical Association (ASA), Statistical Society of Canada (SSC) and International Biometric Society – East North American Region (ENAR).
Dr. Sinha conducts biostatistical research in the areas categorical data analysis, longitudinal analysis, missing data, mixed models, nonparametric regression and robust inference. In addition to the development of a strong independent research, he has also been actively involved in collaborative research with many clinical investigators. He is involved in genomics research with a number of collaborators in epidemiology and biostatistics.
