Pablo Stiefel was born in 1960 in Seville, Spain, completed his medical studies in 1983 and attained his doctorate in 1991. He is currently associate professor at the University of Seville and works as a physician in the clinical and experimental vascular risk unit at the Hospital Universitario Virgen del Rocio, Seville, Spain.
