Biography

Dr. Zhao is presently working as a senior statistical analyst at MD Anderson Cancer Center.He obtained his Ph.D degree in Computer Science at City University of Hong Kong, where he started to work on bioinformatics topics.Then he worked as a postdoctoral fellow in Genome Institute of Singapore and Baylor College of Medicine.

Research Interest

1. Genome rearrangements in evolution and in cancer and
2. Analysis of next generation sequencing data, especially alternative splicing using RNA-Seq data and targeted sequencing for personalized cancer therapy.
