Dr Djordje Veljovic, Research Associate at the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy, University of Belgrade, Serbia. Dr Djordje Veljovic received M.Sc. and Ph.D degree at the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy, University of Belgrade. Dr Veljovic research interests include fields of synthesis, processing, mechanical properties and characterization of advanced functional materials, especially bioceramic materials, ceramics and ceramic based composite nanomaterials, bioactive coatings etc. Also work in development of inorganic chemical technology. Author more than 30 papers in international journals related to material science, chemistry and chemical engineering. Member of several professional bodies and international conference committees and reviewer of many international leading journals. He was the recipient of the medal for achievement in science for 2011. from Serbian Chemical Society.
