Dr. Alok Prasad Das, presently employed as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Biotechnology, Siksha O Anusandhan University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India received his M. Sc degree in Biotechnology from Fakir Mohan University Balasore and M. Tech in Chemical Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Rourkela. Dr. Das has carried out his PhD research work on the topic “Bioleaching of manganese from low grade manganese ores using indigenous microflora”.
His research interest includes Biosensors, Pathogen detection, Bioremediation and Bioleaching
