Yingmei Feng

Biography

"Dr.Yingmei Feng has received her PhD in Leuven University in 2008. Currently, she is a postdoc fellow in Stem Cell Institute, Leuven University in Belgium. With both M.D. and Ph.D degrees, Dr. feng focuses her research on mechanisms and causes of cardiovascular diseases and metabolic syndrome, aiming at to discover and develop novel, practical, and therapies to treat and prevent diseases. Dr. Feng is a member of Belgium Lipid club and of International Atherosclerosis Society. She has obtained several national and international prestigious awards including first prize of Orbita award granted by Belgium Society of Cardiology, NIH award and Gordon Research Conference (GRC) awards. At present, she is serving as the associated editor of Pancreatic Research and invited reviewer by Circulation, ATVB and etc. "

Research Interest

Mechanisms and causes of cardiovascular diseases and metabolic syndrome, aiming at to discover and develop novel, practical, and therapies to treat and prevent diseases.
