Biography
The Prof. Vincenzo Salini was born in Atri, in the province of Teramo, March 7, 1967, and lives in Pescara. You Specialist in Orthopedics and Traumatology of Medicine and sport. Currently directs the Orthopaedics and Traumatology Clinic Hospital Ss. Annunziata in Chieti . 
Full Professor in Diseases of locomotive at the University "G. d'Annunzio "in Chieti, is also Medical Director of Pescara Calcio / Delfino Pescara Srl since 1998. He has performed about 6,000 operations for sports-related diseases and not.
 
He graduated in Medicine and Surgery at the University "G. D'Annunzio "in Chieti, with 110/110 Degree with honors in AY 1990/1991, with the thesis Experimental," Hyperbaric oxygen therapy in traumatized ". He received the award for 2nd best graduate of his academic year (average 29,47 + 15 awards).
He qualified to the Profession of Physician-Surgeon in November 1991, and in 1996, the Specialization in Orthopedics and Traumatology at the Postgraduate School of Chieti, with 70/70 cum laude, with a thesis on "Role of Spiral CT in sports osteo-articular pathology ". In 2001 he specialized in sports medicine at the Postgraduate School of Chieti, with 70/70 and praise and thesis entitled "The percutaneous tenorraffia in subcutaneous ruptures of the Achilles tendon."
In 2004 he obtained the qualification to Associate Professor (band II) in Diseases of locomotive (SSD MED / 33), with overall assessment of excellence by the Commission. He confirmed the role in 2008. In 2010 he obtained the eligibility to Full Professor in Diseases of locomotive, and his research has been judged by the Commission of high value for originality, innovativeness and methodological rigor.
The member of several prestigious scientific societies, including SIOT . (Italian Society of Orthopaedics and Traumatology), SIA (Italian Society Of Arthroscopy), SIGASCOT (Italian Society of Knee Surgery, Arthroscopy, Sports, Cartilage and orthopedic technologies), AIOD (Italian Association for Dynamic Osteosynthesis) and AOTrauma Italy.
