Valeria Blanda

Biography

Valeria Blanda is a Biologist, currently working at Istituto Zooprofilattico Sperimentale della Sicilia, Italy. She has completed her PhD in 2011 from Università degli Studi di Palermo, Italy. She is a recipient of many awards and grants for her valuable contributions and discoveries in major area of research. Her research experience includes various programs, contributions and participation in different countries for diverse fields of study. Her research interests as a Researcher reflects in her wide range of publications in various national and international journals.

Development of techniques of PCR and qPCR, Sequencing of the amplified and analysis of the obtained sequences, Cloning of selected genes in prokaryotic expression vectors and transformation of competent cells, Bacterial cultures, Production of recombinant proteins and their purification by chromatography, Development of ELISA, Cell culture, Data analysis
