Biography

Dr. Sohaila Javanmard is awarded PhD in Applied Meteorology from Kyushu University, Fukuoka, Japan, in the 1999. Her international experience includes various programs, contributions and participation in different countries for diverse fields of study.  Her research interests as a Scientist reflect in her wide range of publications in various national and international journals.  She is the Editorial Board Member and serves as a member of various associations, apart from being an author for many books. 

Research Interest

Precipitation Gridded Data Analysis using in-situ Observation and Satellite, Satellite Data Modeling, Weather Modification, Cloud Seeding, Cloud Physics, Physical Parameterization in Precipitation Process, Numerical Modeling, Natural Disaster Risk Management, Drought Monitoring and Early Warning, Climate Change and Global warming.
