												Anaesthetic Options in Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy

				 Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy (CIDP) is an acquired inflammatory disorder of unknown   etiology affecting the peripheral nervous system. The disease can be chronically progressive or follow a pattern of   relapses and remissions. Motor involvement is usually greater than sensory and causes symmetrical, proximal limb   weakness. CIDP is not a common disease in our field. Ignorance in the anesthetic management of these patients   creates uncertainty. There are not any guidelines for the specific anaesthetic management of these patients.
