Biography

Dr. Ruud HGP Van Erve, MD, PhD, is a well-versed orthopedic surgeon with substantial experience in general orthopedic surgery and special interest in pediatric orthopedics and foot and ankle surgery.
He studied medical school ar Nijmegen University the Netherlands, Orthopedic surgery at Groningen University Hospital and Deventer Hospital. Orthopedic surgeon at Deventer Hospital form 2000-2011. Started a Private clinic "Beter Lopen Expertisecentrum" in 2011. Member of Dutch Orthopedic Society, DOFAA, EFAS, Dutch Pediatric Orthopedic Society, Society for the Advancement of BloodManagement.
Dr. Van Erve’s experience consists of 14 years as orthopedic surgeon, of which 10 as teacher in any form, which guarantees high quality advice. He sees patients at Care To Move in Deventer, the Netherlands. The practice is focused on the conservative treatment of orthopedic afflictions.
In the past, he served as Medical Director and Secretary of the Board of Beter Lopen Medisch, an organization in charge of podiatric treatment and rehabilitation. He has also been featured in journals on topics including arthroscopy and other orthopedic topics. Dr. Van Erve also offers medico-legal advice especially on orthopedic cases, as well as experts reports in general orthopedics through van Erve Orthopedische Expertise en Advies, also located in Deventer, the Netherlands. Dr. Van Erve attributes his success to getting the right amount of attention to each patent and treating the whole person not just a set of symptoms. A polyglot speaking English, German, and French in addition to Dutch, his native language, Dr. van Erve dedicates to horseback riding in his free time
