Ross Sparks

Biography

Ross has lectured at the University of Natal, University of Cape Town (Senior Lecturer) and University of Wollongong in Statistics and Applied Mathematics (Senior Lecturer) before joining CSIRO Australia in 1991. He is now a Senior principal Search Scientist & Team leader of the Real-Time Modelling and Monitoring team in Data61. In addition, he has contributed to topics in the variable selection in multivariate regression models, outlier detection in regression models, model validation and assessment, cluster analysis & dimension reduction methods. Ross has been an invited speaker at 12 international conferences.
