Dr Rosalia D’Angelo obtained her degree in “Biological Sciences” (1991) at the University of Messina, Italy. In 1998 at the University of Messina she obtained the specialization degree in “Biochemistry and Clinical Chemistry” In 2003 she has received his PhD in “Human Cell Biology” at Department of Biomorphology and Biotechnologies, Division of Biology and Genetics, University of Messina, Messina, Italy. Beetween September -November 2004 stayed in the laboratories of the Department of Oncology, Biology and Genetics of the University of Genoa, Italy, within the framework on molecular genetic analysis of genes involved in the pathogenesis of cerebral cavernous angiomas. In year 2006 she partecipated to a selection for University Researcher at the Medical School of the University of Messina: she won the selection and became University Researcher, in the field of Applicated Biology. Currently, she is Researcher of Applied Biology (Biology and Genetics) at the Department of Biomedical Sciences and Morphological and Functional Images, Division of Medical Biotechnologies and Preventive Medicine, University of Messina, Messina, Italy.
