Raja Rachakatla

Biography

Raja Rachakatla is currently working as an Assistant Professor at Department of Anatomy, Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, A.T. Still University of Health Sciences, USA. He has completed his BVSc in the year 2001 from College of Veterinary Sciences, Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University, India. He received his PhD in 2007 from Kansas State University, USA. He is a recipient of many awards and grants for his valuable contributions and discoveries in major areas of research. His area of expertise credits him with many publications in national and international journals.

Research Interest

Transplantation of stem cells in various cancer disease models to evaluate their selective engraftment and targeted therapeutic potential, To develop animal models of various cancer diseases to understand the pathology of those diseases, and to evaluate the potential of various therapeutic agents including stem cells, To improve and develop transplantation techniques using sophisticated imaging techniques such as magnetic resonance imaging, ultrasound, and computed tomagraphy
