Biography


 Mori did his undergraduate training at  Emory University and graduated from Temple University School of Medicine. He is board-certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular medicine and is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology. He completed residency and fellowship training at the University of Colorado. Dr. Krantz also currently directs the cardiac risk reduction program at Denver Health and Hospital Authority and is an Associate Professor of Medicine, at the University of Colorado.He is committed to improving cardiac safety in new drug development as a Member of the US FDA Cardiovascular and Renal Drugs Advisory Committee.  Within the field of drug-induced arrhythmia, he serves on a US Department of Health and Human Services Expert Panel on cardiac safety.  Mori’s commitment to safety and quality of care is further exemplified by his service on an AHA national steering committee, Get With The Guidelines, the largest inpatient quality improvement program in the US that has successfully improved care for coronary artery disease, stroke, and heart failure patients.  Dr. Krantz is an author or co-author of nearly 100 scholarly publications pertaining to the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases
