Biography

Mori J Krantz, MD, FACC, FACP, is Professor of Medicine/Cardiology at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center (UCHSC), and Director of Echocardiography at Denver Health (DH) Medical Center, a nationally recognized safety net hospital affiliated with the University of Colorado. He founded the cardiac risk reduction program and their cardiac rehabilitation program, which have become integrated into DH's patient safety and quality enterprise. Dr Krantz also has extensive experience developing clinical quality improvement programs and research studies ranging from vascular disease prevention to heart failure management
