Biography

Dr. Marcello Fonseca Salgado Filho is coordinator of the Intraoperative TEE Board from the Brazilian Society of Anesthesia, is doing his PhD in the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and is Master of Science in Health from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora. He is an Assistant Professor of Anesthesia in the Medicine Faculty of Antonio Carlos President University in Juiz de Fora since 2006 and cardiovascular anesthesiologist at National Institute of Cardiology/Ministry of Health since 2001. His major area of research is related to cardiovascular anesthesia and intraoperative TEE.
