Biography

Kwon-Hee Lee is a professor of Mechanical Engineering at Dong-A University, Busan, South Korea where he has conducted numerous researches and taught since 2002. He earned a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Hanyang University in 1989 and Ph.D. in 1997. He currently teaches undergraduate courses on Optimal Design, Mechanical Element Design and Capstone Design, each attracting around 70~80 students. He also teaches graduate courses on Advanced Optimal Design, Axiomatic Design and Vehicle Analysis and Structural Optimization. His current research focus is on metamodel-based optimization applications in vehicle, orthodontic appliance, and offshore structure design.
