Koppen Gudrun

Biography

Gudrun Koppen is an Engineer in Chemistry and Agricultural Sciences (University of Ghent, Belgium, 1987-1992). She has completed a post-university degree in School Teaching (University of Ghent, 1991-1992) and in Environmental Sanitation (partly in Bochum-Germany via an Erasmus exchange program, 1992-1993).  She worked one year as researcher on aerosols at the Institute of Nuclear Research of the University of Ghent (1994).  Between 1994 and 1999, she completed a PhD in Applied Biological Sciences at the Free University of Brussels (Belgium) on genotoxicity testing in plants.
