Jin Gu

Biography

 Dr. Gu Jin received his Medical Degree from Beijing Medical University. In 1992, he studied abroad in France attending Louis Pasteur University, and in 1999, he studied at Columbia University College as a visiting scholar. Dr. Gu has over 20 years of experience in clinical and applied research in gastroenterological oncology. Prior to joining Beijing United Family Hospital and Clinics, he worked at Peking University People’s Hospital in the Department of Surgery. He currently serves as Director of Peking University Cancer Hospital.Over the span of his career, Dr. Gu has gathered a breadth and depth of both clinical and research experience in colorectal cancer. He is currently leading ongoing clinical studies in radioimmunoguided colorectal surgery. Dr. Gu serves on a number of boards and is a member of many associations, including the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR). He has published more than 47 papers and has won funding from a number of prestigious foundations, including the Ministry of Health’s Outstanding Young Scientists Research Fund and the State Board of Education’s Research Fund.
