Biography

 Dr. Roh is a Board-certified orthopaedic surgeon and fellowship-trained minimally invasive spine surgeon and Director of the Seattle Minimally Invasive Spine Center (SMISC). He hails from Seattle, WA and graduated from the University of Washington.

 Dr. Roh received his medical degree at the Medical College of Wisconsin and orthopedic spinal training at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH. While at Case, Dr. Roh was the founding editor and editor-in-chief of the Case Orthopedic Journal. Dr. Roh completed his residency training at University Hospitals Case Medical Center under the direction of Dr. Henry Bohlman. To advance his training, Dr. Roh then completed a spine and scoliosis surgery fellowship at Cornell University's world-renowned Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City.

 Although his education and training have enabled Dr. Roh to treat a wide spectrum of spinal disorders from the cervical to lumbar spines, his particular area of expertise lies in the burgeoning field of Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery (MIS). He is an inventor and developer of spinal technologies and holds intellectual property with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Dr. Roh is intimately involved in training both national and international spine surgeons in the art and science of performing MIS surgery. He is an inaugural member of the Society of Minimally Invasive Spine Society (SMISS), Chief of Spine at Evergreen Hospital Medical Center in Kirkland, WA and co-director of the Seattle Spine Fellowship Program.
