Jan is head of Allen & Overy's German Corporate Insurance Practice. He focuses in particular on M&A transactions, post-acquisition integration measures and restructurings in the insurance and reinsurance sector. Furthermore, Jan also advises on general corporate law and insurance regulatory law matters, and is an expert on pensions related transactions and contractual trust arrangements. Before joining Allen & Overy, Jan was a partner at another well-known international law firm, where his practice areas were identical; prior to that he worked in several positions for Allianz Group.
