Biography

Georges Leftheriotis, MD, PhD is a French vascular physiologist who recently joined Prof. Ludovic Martin's PXE group. He graduated with a medical degree in 1986 from the Med School of South Lyon, France. He completed his PhD thesis from Claude Bernard's University (Lyon, France) dealing with the study of skin microcirculation and thermoregulation. He moved to Angers in 1988 and is now the head of the Laboratory of Vascular Physiology and Sports Medicine at the University Hospital of Angers.
