Biography

 Fernando Garcia-Bragado Dalmau, born in Girona on 15 May 1952. He holds the Degree in Medicine and Surgery from the Autonomous University of Barcelona in 1979. His thesis directed by Professor Miquel Vilardell Tarrés read and June 1979 with the title "clinical value of the crionmunoglobulinas." The studies were undertaken this thesis gives rise to 42 publications, nine international journals and 33 national journals and 21 conference papers and / or meetings, one at international conferences. 

He is Specialist in Internal Medicine. 
His task Care started in 1976 as a Medical Resident in Internal Medicine at Vall d'Hebron University Hospital in Barcelona under the direction of Professors Miguel Solano Joaquin Tornos and Vilardell Tarrés. He remained Physician of Internal Medicine of Vall d'Hebron University Hospital from 1980 to April 1987. And then become Head of Internal Medicine of the University Hospital Virgen de Valme in Seville from April 1987 to April 1993.  From April 1993, he was Head of Internal Medicine at Hospital Josep Trueta. 
He has been Associate Professor of Medical Pathology in the Faculty of Medicine of the University Autònoma of Barcelona and Seville. Guardian Medical Residents Internal Medicine for 11 years. 
Co-Director, together with Professor Miquel Vilardell Tarrés and Doctoral Thesis "Trombocitopènias immune to fear addicted to intravenous drugs," thesis made ​​by Dr. John Ruiz Lima. 
He is the author of 225 publications in medical journals, 64 in international journals and 105 conference papers and meeting medical. 
Research Interest

 In recent years, his research interests have been addressed to pneumonia, a subject on which he has participated in several trials. He is the member of the working group of the Spanish Society of Internal Medicine and multidisciplinary group RIETE; having participated in several trials with 18 international publications and 38 conference papers.
