He is an Associate Professor of Department of Economics, BI Norwegian Business School. He received his Ph.D. in Mathematics from University of Oslo(2000). His research is in Mathematics; in particular the fields of Algebra, Algebraic Geometry and Deformation Theory. He teach Mathematics for the Bachelor, Master and PhD Programmes at BI Norwegian Business School. He is the Editor-in-Chief/Editorial Board Member of many peer reviewed journals and his area of expertise credits him with many publications in national and international journals
