Dr. Edward Yap joined the UNC Neurosurgery faculty in late December of 2019 as an Assistant Professor. Dr. Yap is very familiar with the Department of Neurosurgery and the neurosurgery faculty since he completed his seven-year neurosurgery residency program here at UNC. Now he is returning as a board-eligible neurosurgeon and member of the UNC Neurosurgery faculty, working alongside fellow UNC neurosurgery residency graduate, Dr. Carolyn Quinsey, who overlapped Dr. Yap’s residency training for five years.
