Ebrahim Gilasian is currently working as a Researcher at Insect Taxonomy Research Department, Iranian Research Institute of Plant Protection, Iran. He has completed his BSc in the year 1995 from Urmia University, Iran followed by MSc in the year 1999 from Tarbiat Modares University, Iran. He received his PhD in Agricultural Entomology, in 2013 from Tarbiat Modares University, Iran. He is a recipient of many awards and grants for his valuable contributions and discoveries in major areas of research.
