David P. Gurd

Biography

 David P. Gurd, MD, is the Head of Pediatric Spinal Deformity Surgery at Cleveland Clinic. He received his medical degree from the Ohio State University, residency training at Cleveland Clinic and a fellowship in pediatric orthopaedics at the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. Dr. Gurd's main interests include scoliosis and spine deformity, pediatric trauma, lower-extremity deformity and children's hip conditions.

Research is being conducted on improving recovery after scoliosis surgery and specific fracture care.
