Biography
Dr. Zelle joined the clinical faculty at UTHSCSA in 2011. Born and raised in Germany, Dr. Zelle earned his medical degree from the George-August University of Gottingen School of Medicine. He received postgraduate surgical training at the Department of Trauma Surgery at Hannover Medical School. In 2002, Dr. Zelle moved to the United States and completed a postdoctoral orthopaedic research fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He subsequently, completed his orthopaedic residency training as well as his orthopaedic trauma fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
