Over course of her Bachelor degree, she explored the chemical processes for Drug Delivery. In order to expand her knowledge further, with a view to pursuing a Master’s degree, she focused on the synthesis and modification of commercial anticancer drugs from the Bisphosphonate family. Subsequently, her doctorate focused on developing new and innovative anticancer magnetic nanoparticles for drug delivery, ranging from the synthesis, to the characterizations and biological evaluations. Her PhD was at the interface of chemistry, physics and biology. After completion of her doctorate, she researched the synthesis and surface modification of new porous nanoparticles new drug carriers.
