Biography

Begum Fouzia is an Assitant Professor in Shadan Institute of Medical Sciences. She is also a Microbiologist in Vijaya Diagnostic Center, Mulay Diagnostic Center in Hyderabad. Begum Fouzia's research interests include Microbiology, Cell Biology and Immunology. Begum Fouzia has authored of many research articles related to Medicine.

Research Interest

Detection for the presence of Extended Spectrum Beta Lactamases [ESBL] in Klebsiella species, to be screened and confirmed by Phenotypic method and detection by PCR for the presence of genes encoding beta lactamases of SHV and TEM types.
