Biography

Dr. Atta Abbas Naqvi is currently serving as Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Hamdard University Karachi, Pakistan. He has earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Ziauddin University in 2010, where he was the recipient of the merit scholarship. He holds a Master of Science in Medicines Management / Clinical Pharmacy from University of Sunderland which was awarded in 2013. He graduated with distinction in two majors and was awarded the Sword of Honor in Pharmacotherapy.

He has a resourceful research experience and has authored or co-authored 75 research papers and his work has appeared in leading scientific journals of the world. His research interests are mainly in the area of Pharmacotherapy, Pharmacovigilence, Social and administrative pharmacy. He is also serving as an Editorial Board Member and Reviewer in a number of reputed journals. He has also authored a monograph book on Polypharmacy in Pakistan and worked on many public health projects in Pakistan with collaboration of local and international NGOs and public welfare societies. He holds academic membership of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain, United Kingdom.
